NEW YORK—Apothederm launched a Stretch Mark Cream designed to repair both new and existing stretch marks. Apothederm’s Stretch Mark Cream reinforces the skin’s fundamental support structures and helps to visibly repair stretch marks. The lotion is formulated using SmartPeptide™ technology with heptapeptide-7 which helps build collagen while reducing the appearance of red and silver stretch marks. Heptapeptide-7 consists of seven naturally occurring amino acids found in the skin.
The Stretch Mark Cream also uses shea butter, cocoa butter, olive oil and moisturizing meadowfoam to even skin tone, improve skin texture, prevent future stretch marks and fade the appearance of existing ones. Other key ingredients include sodium hyaluronate to help maintain hydration balance and licorice root extract to reduce discoloration.
