PEEKSKILL, N.Y.—Crater Lake Company introduced three dry format face masques to its About Face collection. The face masques contain all-natural, globally sourced ingredients in a dry powder format that offers a personal, customized treatment. Users can pick their mixing agent that’s specific to their individual skin type. For example, mix in green tea for dry skin, add milk for oily skin, yogurt for combination skin or pureed cucumber for acne-prone skin. Water may also be used to activate each masque. Each masque comes with a spoon, disposable headband, premium spa brush and complete mixing instructions.
The collection includes:
- Pumpkin & Oats Nourish—Naturally occurring enzymes in pumpkin gently dissolve dead skin cells while colloidal oatmeal and organic marshmallow root powder helps soothe inflammations. Wild-harvested Egytian frankincense powder improves skin tone and clarity with its natural astringent qualities. This masque is naturally fragranced with the scent of rose absolute and clove oil.
- Chocolate & Silk Renew—This dry powder masque contains organic and Fair Trade Peruvian cocoa powder and rhassoul clay from Morocco’s Atlas Mountains to renew and detoxify skin. Yogurt, silk and honey powder provide moisture and nourishment, while organic meadowsweet and olive leaf powder refine skin and help prevent breakouts.
- Strawberries & Cream Illuminate—Salicylic acid, naturally found in strawberries, gently exfoliates and refines skin to reveal fresh, radiant skin. This all-natural masque utilizes the detoxifying properties of mild, yet effective clays to cleanse and reduce the appearance of pores. Organic ginger powder helps increase circulation.
