WACONIA, Minn.—TMC Industries Inc. launched its contract distillation services for fragrance ingredients. The contract distillation services can separate, deodorize, decolor, concentrate, fractionate or purify fish oils, algae oils, seed oils, citrus oils for use in cosmeceuticals and fragrance ingredients. It uses short-path, thin-film, high-vacuum centrifugal molecular stills to fractionate and concentrate oils or waxes with a molecular weight more than 200. A short residence time minimizes thermal decomposition and its design is simple and easy to clean which reduces potential contamination.
