HBA Global Launches SPLASH Pavilion

NEW YORK—HBA Global is debuting its new SPLASH Pavilion, which will serve as a springboard for emerging brands and independent companies to showcase their latest finished goods to the beauty and personal care community, June 19 to June 21, 2012 at Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York.

The pavilion will feature unique product offerings from all over the world that have been juried by an elite panel of retailers, beauty bloggers, brand experts and entrepreneurs.

SPLASH will boost the visibility and image of a new generation of cosmetics, skin care, fragrance, nail, hair and personal care products among industry professionals including distributors who attend HBA Global as well as the beauty media who have a strong New York base.

“Today’s beauty consumers have an insatiable hunger for innovation and newness. I’m thrilled to be part of discovering and showcasing the next wave of beauty must-haves," said Ann Colville Somma, Innovation Consultant & Blogger (Cult of Pretty) and HBA SPLASH Jury Member.

Brands that can apply to this new Pavilion at HBA for testing and review by the SPLASH Jury include products with no more than two years in retail distribution (U.S. or international) and have an interesting development or back story. Finished goods that are effective, offer new solutions and fill a unique consumer need will also be considered. 

Those selected to participate in the SPLASH Pavilion will receive a high-end complete turnkey package for optimum product display and face-to-face meetings as part of their contract. SPLASH companies will also receive a complimentary three-day conference pass to the HBA Conference program. In addition, there will be scheduled beauty blogger and media tours throughout the event, and attendees will vote on their top new products. SPLASH participants will also be heavily promoted in HBA Global promotional materials and through online and social media initiatives.

There will be a limited number of display areas in the SPLASH Pavilion and the submission deadline is Jan. 30, 2012.
