CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Nature’s Gate introduced sunless tanner and sun protection formulations. Choose from dry finish formulas, water- and sweat-resistant formulas and extra gentle kids’ formulations. The Nature’s Gate sun care collection, infused with natural botanicals, skin-nourishing oils and antioxidant vitamins, keeps skin healthy and protected against the damaging rays of the sun. Oxybenzone has been removed from Sportblock, Kid’sblock and Aquablock, making the entire line oxybenzone-free. All products in the line offer broad spectrum protection from UVA/VB rays and are free of synthetic fragrances. All sunscreens are fragrance-free, while the Sunless Tanner is enhanced with a natural citrus scent. In addition, Sportblock and Kid’sblock are now offered in higher SPF 50 formulations.
Nature’s Gate Sun Care Collection includes:
- Sportblock SPF 50: This dry finish, water- and sweat-resistant sun block is ideal for outdoor activities. The fragrance-free lotion, enhanced with soothing cucumber and lavender, provides protection from the damaging effects of the sun.
- Aquablock SPF 50: This water-resistant, fragrance-free formulation provides SPF protection for the skin. Ideal for water sports enthusiasts, it provides high protection against sunburn during prolonged water activity.
- Kid’sblock SPF 50: This fragrance-free, pediatrician-tested formula is gentle for children’s delicate and sensitive skin. Chamomile and calendula help calm sun exposed skin.
- Faceblock SPF 25: This non-greasy, lightweight lotion for facial skin is fortified with zinc oxide to offer broad spectrum, long-lasting protection. Vitamins C and E from guava, almond and tomato extracts help protect skin, while moisturizing cucumber, aloe and chamomile provide soothing protection for skin.
- Mineral Sportblock SPF 20: This dry finish mineral sun block is specially formulated for outdoor activities. It contains the physical blocks titanium dioxide and zinc oxide to provide UVA/UVB protection, without ultra fine nanoparticles.
- Mineral Kid’sblock SPF 20: This pediatrician-tested mineral sun block is formulated for children’s delicate and sensitive skin. The fragrance-free lotion contains the physical blocks titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, without ultra fine nanoparticles, to provide broad spectrum UVA/UVB sun protection.
- Sunless Tanner: This lightweight and fast-absorbing formula is easy-to-use for a natural-looking, streak-free tan. Dihydroxyacetone, a natural ingredient derived from sugar cane, naturally tints the skin and won’t wash away with soap and water. Green tea and red raspberry help fight free radicals and keep skin looking youthful, while antioxidant-rich olive oil moisturizes skin, leaving it soft and supple. A subtle development of color will appear within the first day of use and will continue to develop with additional applications, building a natural, even tan. The formula is lightly fragranced with a natural citrus scent.
Nature’s Gate Sun Care products are free of oxybenzone, parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrance, mineral oil, petrolatum, animal-derived ingredients and are never tested on animals. In addition, the packaging is fully recyclable and made of mostly recycled materials. All formulations are available in 4-oz. bottles.
