WINONA, Minn.—J.R. Watkins Naturals selected Julie Moran as spokesperson for the J.R. Watkins Natural Apothecary personal care line and the J.R. Watkins Natural Home Care cleaning products line. The former “Entertainment Tonight” anchor and frequent red carpet host is a longtime J.R. Watkins brand and natural products enthusiast. She currently hosts segments featuring J.R. Watkins on the QVC shopping network.
In her role as spokesperson, Moran will work with J.R. Watkins to launch the company’s Clear Conscience communications campaign. Clear Conscience will leverage social media, traditional media and online outlets to provide lighthearted, easy-to-follow, helpful advice and solutions to consumers who want to embrace a more eco-friendly lifestyle.
“Julie’s professional experience, along with her passion for our brand and her commitment to health and well-being, makes her a perfect fit for J.R. Watkins,” said J.R. Rigley, vice president of sales and marketing at J.R. Watkins. “Julie has already proven to be a great ambassador for J.R. Watkins with her tremendous results on QVC.”
Moran recently appeared at a J.R. Watkins event at Marie Mason Apothecary in Los Angeles. The event celebrated the new partnership between J.R. Watkins, the country’s oldest natural products apothecary brand, and L.A.’s premier apothecary boutique. It also was a fundraiser for the local Union Rescue Mission, a nonprofit dedicated to serving men, women and children experiencing homelessness.
