Natural lipids are a diverse group of organic compounds, containing triglycerides as well as non-glyceride fractions of bioactive unsaponifiables including tocopherols, phytosterols, triterpenic alcohols, aliphatic alcohols, hydrocarbons and waxes. AAK uses gentle processing in producing its Lipex® functional lipids, including Lipex® Shea-U, Lipex® Cellect and Akorex L, to enrich minor lipid components and obtain a high content of natural bioactive components.
