WILMINGTON, Del.—DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio Products LLC entered into the South American market for its 100-percent, bio-based product, Zemea® propanediol. The company appointed Sarfam as distributor for Zemea for Brazil.
Zemea is a certified-natural ingredient developed for use in cosmetics, personal-care products. It is a sustainable alternative to petroleum-based glycols where the product’s lack of skin irritation, improved moisturization and sensorial attributes are benefits. Zemea has been recognized by Ecocert™ and the Natural Products Association (NPA) as an ingredient of natural origin.
