NEW YORK—The Fragrance Foundation presented the 39th Annual 2011 FiFi® Awards and Celebration on Wednesday, May 25 in New York. The black-tie awards evening and reception brought together leaders of the fragrance industry under a tent in Lincoln Center to honor the year’s most fabulous fragrance brands with more than 30 crystal FiFi® Award statuettes—the symbol of excellence and recognition in the fragrance world.
“Floral" was the theme of the night, from the fresh green and white décor of the tent to the vibrant, colorful dresses and flower accessories sported by the guests. Kicking off the ceremony, Rochelle Bloom, president of the Fragrance Foundation wore a flowing, pastel blue gown with floral details and a statement maroon fascinator to match.
Celebrity guests in attendance included Halle Berry, who received the FiFi’s first- ever Elizabeth Taylor Fragrance Celebrity of the Year Award, re-named as a tribute to the late film and glamour icon. Fergie accepted a FiFi New Fragrance Celebrity of the Year Award, and Mary J. Blige was honored with a FiFi for her debut fragrance, My Life. Additionally, Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Cat Cora, Josh Duhamel, Padma Lakshmi, Desiree Rogers, Trey Songz, Tiffany Amber Thiessen and Kate Walsh made notable appearances throughout the evening as presenters.
