A new year is a new chance to not only start fresh, but to create fresh formulas and research new ingredients for personal care products. One Marylander realized the ingredients in her skin care products weren't as friendly as she would have liked, and started messing around in her kitchen until she created Skincando, a 100-percent organic green skin care line. Using ingredients common in Asian communities, such as honey, herbs and yogurt, Sara Damelio developed a line free of parabens; and she’s not the only one. Going back to basics is proving to pay off.
