ALLENDALE, N.J.—One of the many benefits of trade shows is they serve as a great platform for launching new ingredients. First up, Actives International and Chemisches Laboratorium Dr. Kurt Richter GmbH (CLR), a division of Actives International. The duo launched four new ingredients for cosmeceutical formulation.
The line-up includes:
Actives International:
FE-STIM: A biologically active ingredient derived from green Coffea arabica seeds. It has a high chlorogenic acid content achieved from a multi-stage purification process that infuses the raw material with original qualities.
IUVACELL® PLUS: A product of a standardized isolation process delivering a high proportion of polyphenolic substances species-specific to Epilobium sp. Has a potent antioxidant effect even at concentrations, accompanied by other biological effects that give the product anti-aging properties.
CLR:
PHYTODEFENSE CLR™: A lipophilic active from CLR based on southern magnolia. It is especially designed for pre- and post-treatment of sensitive skin. It reduces neurogenic inflammation as well as skin redness after mechanical stress.
PROBARRIER™ CLR: A suspension of waxy particles developed by CLR that is based on caprylic/capric triglycerides and Copernicia cerifera wax. Creates a persistent but non-occlusive film on the skin. The active gives it a light skin feel and protects skin against low temperatures.
