SUGAR LAND, Texas—Organique by Himalaya line of personal care products by Himalaya Herbal Healthcare received the Natural Products Association's (NPA) Natural Standard Seal on all 20 products.

We’re honored to add one of our industry’s highest marks of quality to a line we’re already extremely proud of."
The NPA Natural Standard is based on natural ingredients, safety, responsibility and sustainability. Products labeled “natural" should be made up of natural ingredients and should be manufactured with appropriate processes to maintain ingredient purity. Products should avoid any ingredient with any suspected human health risk. No animal testing should be performed in its development, and biodegradable ingredients and environmentally sensitive packaging should be used. Further, each ingredient must be listed as generally recognized as safe (GRAS) by FDA and must follow good manufacturing practices (GMP) in its development.
Organique by Himalaya, which debuted in March 2009, is free from parabens, sodium laurel sulfate (SLS), phthalates, petroleum, silicones and other synthetic ingredients that concern the marketplace. The line also contains no artificial fragrances or colors, and uses only cold-pressed, cold-extracted oils.
