BARCELONA, Spain—Lipotec launched Hyadisine™, a marine-based active ingredient with moisturizing and anti-wrinkle properties. This hyaluronic-like ingredient has a high water retaining capacity to provide long-lasting moisture and wrinkle reduction to skin.
Hyadisine is an exopolysaccharide achieved through optimized bioprocesses from a marine bacterium that inhabits the Bay of Douarnenez, in Brittany, which is rich in the same monosaccharide (glucuronic acid) as hyaluronic acid. The long-lasting moisturizing and anti-wrinkle properties of hyadisine tested in vivo by the company showed the efficacy of this bio-active ingredient to improve skin appearance, reducing lines in two hours.
