MIDLAND, Mich.—Dow Corning introduced XIAMETER® personal care prototype formulations, a sun care cream that features XIAMETER® PMX-0345 Cyclosiloxane Blend, Dow Corning® 2502 Cosmetic Fluid, Dow Corning® 2501 Cosmetic Wax and Dow Corning® 556 Fluid.
The XIAMETER web-enabled brand of Dow Corning was introduced in 2002 to service customers who wanted and needed standard silicone products at market-driven prices. The XIAMETER business model was expanded in 2009 and now offers customers enhanced self-service functionality, extended volume quantity options, transparent pricing and more credit term choices. In addition, a broader range of standard silicone products is offered as well as the ability to purchase through local distribution.
