According to the company, the extract affects intrinsic aging by slowing down cell proliferation; extrinsic aging by providing ant oxidant protection to slowdown environmentally affecting aging factors. It works as an anti-wrinkle ingredient as demonstrated in a 28-day in vivo study with twice a day application; and it offers relief for rosacea, which was demonstrated in a seperate 28-day study with twice a day application.
