LEVALLOIS-PERRET, France—BASF Beauty Care Solutions laboratories developed Neurobiox™: “The Skin Biosurfacer". In vitro studies indicate Neurobiox, an Achillea millefolium extract can help to reverse the aging process. A clinical study conducted on two panels of 30 volunteers (the first versus a placebo and the second versus glycolic acid), showed Neurobiox, had better results than glycolic acid and was significantly more effective than the placebo on the three different surface characteristics that were evaluated: wrinkles, pores and skin softness. After eight weeks of product application, the volunteers’ skin pores and wrinkles had visibly diminished and the new layer of skin proved to feel intensely soft and youthful-looking.
