The Next Big Thing for Biodiesel Plants: Cosmetics, Polymers

According to a news report on DomesticFuel.com, cosmetics, polymers and pharmaceuticals may be the “next big thing” keeping biodiesel plants financially afloat. Cargill is backing Elevance Renewable Sciences to help an Iowa-based biodiesel plant, Renewable Energy Group, make use of its biodiesel, soybean, corn and animal oils by producing products such as cosmetics.
