DKSH Appoints Haruo Namba

DKSH, a market expansion services group with a focus on Asia, appointed Haruo Namba as new head for its business unit performance materials in Japan effective Aug. 1, 2011.He brings more than 25 years of experience in the specialty chemicals industry and has an excellent track record in business development and growth achievements within the electronic materials industry. Namba will further strengthen DKSH’s position as the preferred partner for market expansion services for specialty chemicals and food ingredients in Japan.

Namba is a Japanese citizen and holds a degree in mechanical engineering and MBA for strategic management. Before joining DKSH, he took various management roles in leading electronics material companies in India, Singapore and Japan.

Japan is a key market within DKSH’s chemical distribution activities and DKSH is highly committed to further strengthen its organization. Business unit performance materials operates four dedicated Business Lines in Japan, including the personal care industry.
