NEW YORK—Vichy Laboratoires’ global research study showed 94 percent of women state their skin is made vulnerable by damaging external factors; and 86 percent experience burning, redness and tightness as a result. As aggressors attack skin’s surface, a vicious cycle occurs: water and protective minerals are lost, leading to slowed skin renewal. With continued exposure, skin loses even more water and protective minerals, leaving it fragile and more vulnerable to further damage.

As a result, Vichy Laboratoires created Aqualia Thermal Serum, a combination of Vichy Thermal Spa Water; hyaluronic acid; and Aquabioryl™; a polysaccharide (sugar) for comfort and a silky touch. The hydrating texture provides a fresh effect and melts into skin for continuous moisture for up to 24 hours. The emulsified helps to  increase skin hydration by 57 percent after four hours and after one month, skin was 90 percent more soft and 75 percent of skin was replumped and rejuvenated, according to the company’s clinical study. The Aqualia Thermal Serum is paraben-free, non-comedogenic, hypoallergenic and suitable even for combination, oily or acne-prone skin made vulnerable by the elements, in addition to sensitive and delicate skin.

Vichy Laboratoires’ also introduced Aqualia Thermal Eye Roll-On for dark circles and dehydration lines. It contains escin, derived from the plant extract; horse chestnut, which promotes microcirculation; dextran Sulphate, known for its decongestant properties to fade the intensity of dark circles; and hyaluronic acid. According to the company’s clinical study, the eye cream produced a 20-percent increase in hydration after four hours; 62 percent of bags diminish after one hour of application; and after one month of use, 67 percent of users noticed softened dark circles. The hydrogel texture is paraben- and fragrance-free.
