PARIS—ISP launched several new products in hair care, delivery systems and skin scare. ISP introduced the Vincience™ BiotHAIRapy™ line of biofunctional extracts designed to improve hair care from the inside out. Dynagen™, Capauxein™ and Protectagen™ promote healthy looking hair and renewal by focusing on the hair follicle to help preserve hair’s anagen (growth) phase and preserve the follicle and strands from external stresses such as UV, chemical treatment and other factors. Extracted from corn, rice and yeast, each product in the BiotHAIRapy line is designed to improve cellular markers associated with strength, growth and regeneration, and this range represents a new strategy in giving consumers healthier looking and stronger hair.

ISP also introduced two new Vincience biofunctional, Chronogen™, a tetrapeptide designed to help preserve circadian clocks, thereby optimizing skin’s renewal and repair process; and Osmoline™, a hydrolyzed carob seed extract designed to target water–channeling to hydrate the epidermis and imparting a healthy glow.

ISP introduced two additions to the Captivates® microencapsulation line: Wax Beads and Agar Beads. These systems provide an easy way to deliver functional additives, serve as exfoliants and add visual appeal in skin and other personal care products. Manufactured with ISP’s proprietary JetCutter™ process, these beads can encapsulate a wide range of materials, including pigments, clays, insoluble vitamins, proteins, amino acids and abrasive particles.
