ABT Acquires Belli Materna

NEW YORK—HealthEdge Investment Partners LLC and its portfolio company, Advanced Bio-Technologies Inc. (ABT) announced ABT completed its acquisition of Belli Materna LLC located in Issaquah, Wash.

Founded in 2002 by Annette Rubin and Dr. Jason Rubin, Belli is a women’s health and wellness company, focused on providing physician-formulated skin care treatments for mothers and infants. The company’s medical director, Dr. Jason Rubin, provides ongoing teratology screening to ensure the products are void of any chemicals and ingredients that could be potentially harmful to a pregnant mother and her child. Belli offers three distinct product lines with a total of 23 different presentations: Belli Baby, Belli Motherhood and Belli Pregnancy.

“Belli has helped shape and define what health and well-being means in the everyday lives of pregnant women, new mothers and babies,” said Rubin. “Our new venture with Advanced Bio-Technologies and its talented team will strengthen our leadership position in the global mom and baby skin care market.”
