Aloecorp Supports Two Aloe Book Releases

07/02/2007

LACEY, Wash.—Aloecorp (www.aloecorp.com) announced the release of New Perspectives on Aloe, a research compilation of science supporting aloe’s broad range of health applications. The book represents a decade of research conducted in South Korea through the Creation of Aloe Pharmaceuticals (CAP) project, which was co-funded by Aloecorp and Namyang Aloe Corp. Specific applications covered include histamine inhibition, immune stimulation, skin whitening and protection against nephrotoxicity, as well as angiogenic and cell-growth stimulating effects.

The company also re-released the book Aloe Vera: A Scientific Approach, a key scientific text by Robert H. Davis, which was previously out of print. Aloecorp re-released the book in memory of Davis, who was a key scientific advisor to the International Aloe Science Council (IASC). While containing hard science summaries, this publication also explains the form and function of aloe gel.
