HAMBURG, Germany—Symrise introduced SymDeo® B125, a deodorant active to fight body odor that is a more gentle option for the environment. SymDeo B125 helps control the growth of free gram-positive bacteria, responsible for body odor and disrupts the biofilm formed by C. xerosis bacteria. It is gentle on the skin, protects natural skin flora and compares well with triclosan, which is currently very widely used as an antibacterial active ingredient in deodorants; however, SymDeo B125 is not an organochloride, which means it is a more environmentally friendly solution.
