LONDON—The Anti-Aging Skin Care Conference is slated to take place this summer, June 2 to 3, 2010, in London at the Royal College of Physicians, Regents Park. The conference begins with a look at the biology, physiology and mechanisms of skin aging, moving on to performance and how the effects of cosmetics and their ingredients are measured. “The Physiological Cosmetic” session will discuss the borderline between cosmetics and medicines, and the conference will end with a review of the various regulatory and advertising controls in place around the world. Speakers include L’Oréal, Merck, Beiersdorf, J&J, Nu-Skin, Procter & Gamble and Unilever. The regulatory issues are covered by papers from MHRA, dR Cosmetic Regulations and Clearcast UK.
