ATLANTA—EyeDoll Chatter, a new line of scented organic makeup kits for teens, will debut at the SPLASH Pavilion of the HBA Global Expo from June 19 to 21, 2012 in New York. EyeDoll Chatter is the creation of two sisters and their mom who wanted to establish a high-tech, high-fashion cosmetic company specifically for tween and teen girls. Their "Shimmer & Share" business strategy allows young buyers to select shimmery and scented eyeshadows, blushes and lip glosses, and share their combinations with friends by using EyeDoll Chatter’s iPhone app via Facebook, Twitter or MMS.
Founder Kali Sharp's background was writing apps. Leveraging her digital-savvy skills, she was able to translate choosing, buying, and wearing cosmetics into a high-tech platform.
EyeDoll Chatter's makeup kits are locally produced in the United States. Available kits include eye shadow, blush and lip gloss combinations. Each kit contains three scents and three vibrant colors. Young customers can create a personalized look by combining scented shimmers with colors. All EyeDoll Chatter color cosmetics are mineral-based, organic products.
