06/06/2008

PORTLAND, Ore.Whole Foods approved the sale of Save Your Skin exfoliating soaps, shower gels and body lotions and its shampoo and conditioner made with organic yerba maté and organic Aloe vera in its RockyMountain region stores. In April 2008, the personal care company’s branded body lotion received the Whole Foods Market Premium Body Care Standard Seal of Approval when it was launched nationwide.

“The unique ingredients in Save Your Skin, Save Your Hair™ and Save Your World™ products, along with their unique rainforest preservation perspective greatly complement the interests of the discerning Whole Foods Market customer,” said Daniel Chapman, whole body coordinator, RockyMountain region. “A company that shares our values, like Save Your World, fits in perfectly in the Whole Foods Market culture.”

The company’s products are enriched with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals and are handcrafted, paraben-free and pH-balanced. The products also contain 15 different amino acids.
