Illnesses Linked to Vitamin D Deficiency In Scotland

Oliver Gillie, a scientist and writer, spent five years studying the parallels between the climate, vitamin D deficiency and disease for his publication. Gillie’s findings, coupled with the fact that people in Scotland are encouraged to stay out of the sun because of the risk of melanoma, have prompted many medical professionals to call for the Scotland government to address the issue of vitamin D deficiency.
