Mibelle Biochemistry: EpiCalmin TCM

BUCHS, Switzerland—Mibelle Biochemistry worked with an expert in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to develop EpiCalmin TCM, a synergistic combination of three plants used in TCM to protect the skin and prevent premature skin aging. EpiCalmin TCM contains Lonicera Japonica (honeysuckle) flower extract, Xanthium sibiricum fruit extract and Cyperus rotundus root extract, and is ECOCERT approved. Gene array analysis showed EpiCalmin TCM reinforced the skin’s self-protection and reduced degradation of the extra-cellular matrix; in vivo studies found EpiCalmin TCM could reduce skin irritation and increase skin hydration.
