DSM Raises Vitamin A Prices

KAISERAUGST, Germany— DSM Nutritional Products announced a worldwide price increase of 10 percent on its vitamin A for the food, pharmaceutical and personal care industries. According to the company, the adjustment is immediately effective for all newly contracted business, and was driven by increases in raw material and production costs as well as higher market demand. DSM had already substantially increased its vitamin A prices to the animal nutrition and health markets.
