MUTTENZ, Switzerland—Clariant will introduce new concepts and product innovations for cosmetic formulations at in-cosmetics 2010 in Paris from April 13 to 15, 2010, booth M30. Clariant will launch its Sun Care Concept, which offers easy-to-process and timesaving formulations, and UV performance-boosting raw materials that provide the basis for sunscreen formulations.
Visitors to Booth M30 can be the first to see the benefits of Clariant’s “integrated preservation concept”—a package of solutions to effectively preserve and viscosify cosmetic formulations with added cost-effective and “green-focused” benefits for formulators. These include Velsan® SC, a 100 percent natural, synergistic aid; a new thickening agent Aristoflex® TAC; and a new water-in-silicone/water-in-oil emulsifier SilCare®Silicone WSI. New effective preservative blends, preservative efficacy boosters and rheology modifiers are integrated to provide formulators with effective alternatives that preserve, and provide thickening and other aesthetic benefits in difficult to achieve low pH formulations.
