SINGAPORE—Groundbreaking ingredients on display and expert advice will ensure the focus is firmly on the ever-growing natural and organic sector at this year’s in-cosmetics Asia. IMAGINE Natural Beauty is an interactive touch-and-feel feature, showcasing exciting new actives, functional ingredients and organic products from leading industry innovators. The new ingredients being presented will be a source of inspiration for visitors interested in new product development, whilst industry professionals will be on hand to throw the spotlight on green chemistry and sustainable development.

Ten pioneering Asian and European companies will be participating in the IMAGINE Natural Beauty feature: Aldivia, AXIALYS, B&T, Dow Corning, Biospectrum, DSM Nutritional Products, Gattefossé, Ichimaru Pharcos, Rhodia Asia Pacific and SEPPIC. Visitors will have the chance to discover novel products ranging from new actives such as anti-aging and whitening nutricosmetic ingredients, to new functional ingredients such as a COSMOS compliant range of emulsifiers. They will also have the opportunity to sample some of the formulas and discuss product formulation with the experts.

Specialist research company Organic Monitor currently estimates the global market for natural and organic products is worth US $8 billion with sales increasing by more than US $1 billion a year (source: www.OrganicMonitor.com). Nowhere is this growth more prominent than in the Asian market. IMAGINE Natural Beauty is designed to help manufacturers respond to this growing demand, giving them insight and knowledge into innovations and technologies. The feature will guide visitors through the entire cycle of product development, from plants to raw ingredients, through to manufacturing processes and the finished product.
