2010 in-cosmetics Award Nominees

The nominations for the in-cosmetics 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award were announced. The list includes Alain Khaiat, Ph.D., Karl Lintner, Ph.D., Daniel Maes, Ph.D., and Johann Wiechers, Ph.D. Khaiat has been involved in the field of science for more than 40 years, working for companies including Revlon, Yves Rocher Cosmetics and Johnson & Johnson. Lintner has more than 25 years experience and gained admiration from his colleagues and peers for his work within the skin biochemistry field. He published more than 30 papers on biochemistry and biophysics before going on to work at companies such as Henkel and Sederma. Maes has dedicated more than 30 years of his career to the cosmetics industry and has played an integral part in the research and development of several key cosmetic innovations. He has worked for companies such as Richardson-Vicks and Estée Lauder. Wiechers has more than 20 years experience in the cosmetics industry. He worked for Unilever Research as a dermal delivery team leader and at Uniqema as the company’s skin R&D director.
