Arch Personal Care: Metabiotics™ Resveratrol

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, N.J.—Arch Personal Care Products developed Metabiotics™ Resveratrol, produced via fermentation of resveratrol with the microorganism Pichia pastoris. The resulting biofermentation extract completely metabolizes the resveratrol to increase anti-inflammatory activity and collagen synthesis in the epidermis. In vitro studies have shown the ability of Metabiotics Resveratrol to reduce COX-1 expression and promote collagen IVA synthesis; in vivo work confirmed a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles following a 28-day application of an anti-aging cream with the ingredient, as well as skin firming and lifting.
