SOUTH PLAINFIELD, N.J.—Lonza Personal Care is launching two new products at in-cosmetics Barcelona in April. First, is its plant-based skin care active—Vivillume™—derived from the White Bird of Paradise plant. It revitalizes skin by reducing the appearance of dark pigmentation associated with the presence of excess bilirubin. From dark under-eye circles and uneven skin pigmentation to a dull, lackluster complexion, Vivillume can boost skin’s youthful vitality by improving skin tone to yield a clear, illuminated complexion.

Second is Lonza's new online, interactive app—FormulaProtect™.  It allows formulators to save time and easily identify preservatives that best suit their specific needs. By selecting specific formulation criteria such as pH, required spectrum, formulation type, regulatory and organizational approvals, among other criteria, the user will be presented with a selection of recommended preservative options along with detailed information on each of them. The FormulaProtect tool was developed to help Lonza’s global customers select the right preservative that meets both their efficacy and marketing needs.
