According to Reuters, L’Oreal’s two-page Revitalift Repair 10 magazine advertising featuring Hollywood beauty Rachel Weisz got the boot from British watchdog Advertising Standards Authority (ASA).
Jo Swinson, co-founder of the Campaign for Body Confidence said the Company’s anti-wrinkle ad is misleading and exaggerates its performance. The ASA’s ruling on Feb. 1, 2012, said the ad “must not appear again in its current form," as reported by Reuters.
