EstroG-100 Reduces Signs of Aging

ANAHEIM, Calif.—Using a topical cosmetic product along with EstroG-100, a an herbal product containing a mixture of standardized extracts of Cynanchum wilfordii, Phlomis umbrosa and Angelica gigas from Helios CORP and its partner Sunbio, reduced wrinkles and increased  moisture, tone and blushing in a recent study conducted by the companies.

The study was conducted over a period of six weeks with 30 women divided into three groups and consuming 517 mg/d of EstroG-100. One group took EstroG-100, one group used a popular facial cosmetic, and a third group took both the EstroG-100 and used the cosmetic product. Each group was evaluated for skin wrinkles, moisture, tone and blushing. Average improvement of all four categories was 50-percent greater than baseline in the group who took both EstroG-100 and used the cosmetic.

This study was announced at the same time the companies said another study found EstroG-100 reduced the symptoms of menopause. In this study, one group of women took the botanical over the course of four weeks. The group consisted of 20 women consuming 517 mg/d of  EstroG-100. Within seven days, 50 percent of the women confirmed significant improvement in multiple symptoms such as hot flashes, vaginal dryness, vertigo, fatigue and insomnia. Eighty percent of the women showed improvement in these multiple symptoms after four weeks of consumption with EstroG-100.
