Croda ~ Syncrowax™ OSW and ORM

EDISON, N.J.—Croda Inc. introduced Syncrowax™ OSW and Syncrowax ORM, naturally derived structurants for waxes and oils. They provide a boost to SPF and can be applied in color cosmetics, sunscreens and AP/deo formulations. Syncrowax OSW is a blend of Tribehenin and Syncrowas ORM. It will thicken silicone-based systems and is compatible in a range of oils. Syncrowax ORM is formed from sorbitol, sebacic acid and behenic acid, and is SPF-boosting working best in polar oils and esters.
