NEW YORK—Clinique launched its Repairwear Uplifting Firming Cream featuring Mitostime, a multi-tasking ingredient with properties that assist the skin in slowing down the aging process. Derived from brown algae (Laminaria digitata), Mitostime increases cellular energy, encourages natural collagen and elastin synthesis therefore strengthening skin tissue and increasing moisture retention.
In the hypodermis, Mitostime provides essential energy to tired cells, while a molecule extracted from the Commiphora mukul tree helps plump skin’s appearance. The dermis is strengthened by Cantella asiatica extract and collagen and elastin production is encouraged by whey protein, soybean protein, Acetyl hexapeptide-8 and Siegesbeckia orientalis extract.
