DARMSTADT, Germany—Merck Chemicals launched RonaFlair® LDP White, a transparent filter that offers instant soft focus effects. RonaFlair LDP White features sophisticated light diffusion properties which visibly reduces the appearance, making skin look smoother without creating a mask-like effect. The functional filler instantly minimizes the visibility of small wrinkles and skin imperfections. At the same time, it is sufficiently transparent so the skin remains natural looking.
The ingredient is based on white ceramic microspheres that are coated with silica and titanium dioxide. It diffuses the incident light, thereby creating the desired soft focus effect and making skin tone and unevenness virtually invisible. In addition, RonaFlair LDP White produces a ball-bearing effect on the skin. The spherical substrate leads to a perceptibly soft and smooth skin feel and reduces unwanted shine.
RonaFlair LDP White is very stable to light and heat and can be used in all cosmetic formulations without restriction. Its pure white powder color make it particularly suitable for white creams and lotions as well as for anti-wrinkle creams, foundations, loose and compact powders.
