As reported by CosmeticDesign.com, L’Oreal is denying recent accusations that the cosmetic giant lightened actress Freida Pinto—from Slumdog Millionaire—skin tone in a recent advertisement for its Paris Colors Take Flight makeup line for Project Runway. L’Oreal has been working with Pinto since 2009, and said they “highly value our relationship with Ms. Pinto."

Apparently social media is circulating the accusations and pushing aside L’Oreal’s denial. This is not the first time the Company has been accused of altering skin tone; however, some previous accusations have been found false.
