Vitamin C Stability Generating Innovation

Recent developments in stable vitamin C products have allowed formulators to create more stable forms of these best-selling creams. These new formulas stimulate collagen synthesis and strengthen the skin. The new vitamin C products help rejuvenate aged and photo-damaged skin with out turning the skin orange. One vitamin C derivative AA2G (ascorbyl glucoside) is concentrated, and targets freckles and dark spots. This new more stable vitamin C has the same physiological activation as traditional vitamin C.

Another proven effective ingredient is known as the world’s strongest and most stable form. It is the only ascorbic acid ester that works on all three steps of skin lightening and melanin inhibition. A Japanese company has a patent on this ingredient in Japan only, ethyl ascorbic acid—trade name Corum 9515. I believe the patent runs out on 2013. I am excited to try these new products and look forward to developing new products with them, too.
