Frizzing Out About Hair Care
Since I moved to the East Coast and away from my beloved Arizona that lent a dry, arid climate, I am becoming increasingly and acutely aware of my hair and hair care products. I used to get my hair cut once a year (I know, I know, it’s an atrocity), never use product, and buy the least expensive shampoo and conditioner. But since my relocation to a humid and drastically different climate, all I can think about is my darn hair. Now I stock up on sleeking, anti-frizz products; buy expensive shampoos and conditioners that target my needs; and I can’t get my hair cut enough (although, I still slack on this, just a little; shameful, I know). Fortunately, I write for the industry, so I’m aware of new ingredients, research, potential hazardous treatments and more.
I’m sure you’d like a snapshot of what’s new on market shelves and what new ingredients are available for formulating; so we posted an Image Gallery for you get the latest on natural-based products and ingredients.
What’s great is since we posted this, more hot ingredients have been launched and more research has been published; and we talked a little about the hair care industry on SupplySide Community as well.
