Organic is good—yes. But the myths and ambiguous marketing claims surrounding personal care products touting organic are a cause for concern. Problem is—personal care items are not subject to the same legislation as food and drink are when it comes to organic. It’s very possible the products claiming organic uses only a small percentage of organic ingredients.

In fact, it is still debatable as to how accurate “up to 60 per cent of what goes on to the skin can be absorbed into the bloodstream” really is. It may be wise to raise a brow when looking at organic products on the shelves today, questioning their legitimacy and the full truth about their ingredient list.
