Unipex Releases Anti-Acne Clinical Results

QUEBEC—Unipex Innovations released its clinical results on an anti-acne formulation—PureSkin—containing two active ingredients: Canadian Willowherb™ and Kollaren®. These two ingredients specifically help remove excess sebum, prevent the occurrence of acne spots, and fight breakouts for clearer and healthier skin.

A total of 63 consumers, aged 18 to 40 years old, with acne-prone skin applied PureSkin cream with 2 percent Canadian Willowherb and 2 percent Kollaren two times a day for eight weeks.

After four weeks of treatment consumers reported:

  • The product removed excess sebum (82 percent)
  • The product provided a freshness sensation (80 percent)
  • Skin was clearer (72 percent)
  • The product prevented the occurrence of blemishes (72 percent)
  • The product removed impurities (68 percent)

After eight weeks of treatment consumers reported:

  • Skin was not shiny (76 percent)
  • Skin was smoother (72 percent)
  • The product left the skin more beautiful (72 percent)
  • Skin looked healthier (70 percent)
  • Skin was mattified (64 percent)
