Maesa, Benefit Cosmetics ~ b.right skin care range

NEW YORK—Benefit Cosmetics launched its b.right skin care range, designed and manufactured by Maesa. b.right is inspired by antique, 19^th century glass apothecary jars and is comprised of 16 products, including moisturizers and make-up removers. Maesa sprays the bottles with a blue-green colored tint and the vintage aspect is reinforced by specially designed grooves on each bottle. A hydrographic process was used to give the injection modulated Percutaneous Transluminal Angioplasty (PCTA) caps with a polypropylene (PP) foam liner the appearance of being made of cork. This process uses a thin photographic film floating on the surface of bath water, an adhesive is sprayed on the film and the part is dipped into the bath water in order to wrap the film around the part.
