Studies by the company have shown ERYLITE significantly improves skin humidity and texture in finished products. Erythritol is naturally occurring in foods such as grapes, melons and honey, as well as in fermented foods such as cheese and wine. The ingredient is produced through natural yeast fermentation and uses natural carbohydrates—a non-GMO yeast transforms the carbohydrate into ERYLITE.
Research by the company suggests that ERYLITE is also compatible with sensitive skin types when used in skin care products. The ingredient is also applicable to dental care products, including toothpaste, mouthwash and chewing gums.
