Emani Expecting Profits in FY11

MUMBAI, India—According to a top official at Emani, personal care products maker, the company is expecting a 38-percent rise in net profit for the current fiscal on the back of robust growth in its flagship brands. As reported by Reuters, the company expects a profit of 2.35 bn rupees in FY11 on sales of 13-13.5 bn rupees. Emami is planning to expand its international status with new manufacturing units slated to go up in Egypt and Bangladesh during this fiscal, according to Emani’s director Mohan Goenka, also noting the firm has set aside a capital expenditure of 600 million rupees for this fiscal.
