LAS VEGAS—KLEN (”clean”) is a new way to shower. With a single product, KLEN suds up hair, cleanses the body and applies a layer of non-greasy SPF15 sunscreen to block UVA and UVB rays. KLEN was developed by a board-certified dermatologist, and has been clinically proven and safety tested. The product is enhanced with conditioners and antioxidants, and leaves no residue. The three-in-one formula can reach difficult-to-protect areas, like the scalp, and is compatible with other daily skincare products. Antioxidants include grape seed, pomegranate extracts, raspberry and burdock root, but the product is fragrance-free and hypoallergenic. It creates a proprietary electrostatic barrier between the skin and UV rays, and is the culmination of more than 20 years of research spent trying to develop a wash-on sunscreen. The technology uses tiny silica capsules to microencapsulate the active ingredients and keep them on top of the skin where they are most effective to block the sun’s harmful rays.
