SAN DIEGO—Red Wine Therapy Inc. received clearance by FDA to start marketing UVAMIA™ products, made with red wine extract, in the United States. Its product line includes: hydrating face cream, which hydrates and nourishes skin, smoothes wrinkles and reduces expression lines; and firming body cream, which restores the elasticity and hydration of the skin. UVAMIA skincare products are made with 100-percent natural red wine extract containing all the antioxidants (more than 220 different polyphenols) in red wine. UVAMIA contains natural polyphenols from red wine extract, vitamin E and shea butter. Manufactured in Chile, in cGMPs and ISO 9001 certified facilities, the red wine extract comes from selected red wines known for their high antioxidant content.
