MUTTENZ, Switzerland—Clariant introduced an addition to the texture and thickening enhancement Aristoflex® product range for thin lotions and high pH-value lotions, creams and gel applications. Aristoflex BLV and Aristoflex AVS give formulators more control over their product development, including anti-bacterial hand gels; silicone-free under-eye gels, spray lotions, day creams, decorative eye cosmetics and makeup foundations.
Innovative Aristoflex AVS is a rheology modifier specifically developed for formulations with a pH of 7.5 and higher. AVS uses sodium instead of ammonium and is suitable for O/W and W/O emulsions and emulsifier free formulations. The polymeric emulsifier Aristoflex BLV is a finishing component for thin lotion skin care products, such as sprayable sunscreens and body lotions.
